At Aviation Concepts of America our mission is and has always been to simplify management and ownership of aircraft. Paired with decades of pilot experience, AVCON provides higher education and law enforcement specific training opportunities to a multitude of pilots as well as a unique pilot leasing program.

Our Airbus A-Star
Our current helicopter is an A-Star AS350BA, manufactured by Aerospatiale, now
owned and operated by Airbus, one of the industry leaders in helicopter and jet aircraft
design and manufacturing.
Our helicopter has a gross weight of 4,630 pounds and cruises at 140 mph. The A-Star has comfortable seating for 5 passengers and a pilot in air-conditioned comfort.
The high level of soundproofing in the cabin, makes it one of the quietest in class. It has a range of 379 statute miles before refueling is required.
The AS350 BA is powered by a jet turbine Turbomeca Arriel 1B engine with 641 hp.

Eliminate the cost of a full time pilot at the moment of share ownership.

Our crew of professional pilots consists of Commercial Rated helicopter and in some
cases dual rated airplane pilots. These professional pilots receive various levels of
ongoing flight training throughout the year and are factory trained in the A-Star annually
at the Airbus Factory in Grand Prairie, TX.

Many of these pilots are instructor
pilots.
